Title: 159 Rear Window Problem
Post by: gjs159 on October 09, 2015, 06:08:07 PM
Hi All,
I came out from work to find my rear window down and then not going up at all. I tried to raise it by hand but can only get it up to half way. Using the electrics and all it does is makes a grating noise.
Can anyone recommend where I could take it for repair in Melbourne East/South Eastern suburbs?
Cheers Greg

Bayswater = Monza Motors

Brunswick = Maranello Pur Sang

Clayton = Mauceri Motors

Take your pick, all excellent and great reputation

It will need a replacement window reg for sure.

The 159's are good in a way though because the reg and the motor are separate units. They also aren't too hard to remove as the door is well thought out the way it is made.

I've replaced lots of these! Always seems to be rear windows on the 159's.  haha

I had the drivers window go. Took a few weeks to get sorted. made for a royal pain getting into swipe card car parks and the like.
