Well, fancy that. I've got a white '85 QV Sprint that I'm in the process of getting on historic plates. In Canberra. Very much looking forward to comparing cars.

I had a white '88 QV Sprint, built 85. Put many 100's kay's on it, all flat out.
(also in Canberra, donated to to Autotech after the chassis rails split and I moved to London).

I loved that car to pieces (literally).
Perhaps one of you has resurrected it 8)

This thread is useless without pics.

Looks like a fun project, is that one of the ones from Qld?
Let me know when you need parts, I have a parts car stripped in the shed.
Happy to help out a fellow nutter, sorry enthusiast.

Next time I'm up Canberra way I'll get in touch, would be great to have a chat and a beer and talk Alfa for a while.

Is it as you expected? Much work to do?

Looks really good actually... the advantage of the big vinyl stickers is they have protected a lot of paint... need some new front seats though. ... do you have any in your stash??

How bad are your seats? My spares are not all that good drivers has a big split up the side of back passenger is better. Maybe some parts from mine would help fix yours.
Post some pics of yours.

I take it you didn't get the race seats :(

To be honest one of mine I found last night when I dug them out has been pee'd on by mice.
I guess with a good wash with some odour removing cleaner it would be ok.
As I said they are not great, I have a good back seat though.

If you are willing to drive to Merimbula you can have the seats and any other bits you need that I have to get you on the road, I need to clean out the shed and you are welcome to whatever I have that's any good to you, even have a body shell.
I'll PM you my address if your interested
