Good tyres needed for 1985 gtv6 what brand and size thanks, 195 60 or 205 55 Sunday driver good grip period looks, possible odd track day, mainly club car

Excellent ROAD tyre, Bridgestone Adrenalin RE003 (195/60R15).
Will handle the odd sprint, large shoulder blocks on the outside edge will reduce tread squirm and tread wear.
I have used Adrenalins on my 75 for a couple of sprints and they do quite well (for a road tyre).
Others on this forum have much more experience than me though in regards to road tyres suitable for sprints...

I have an 84 gtv6 with the original Campy wheels & Pirelli P6000 195/60 R15 tyres that need replacing.
I'm thinking of going just a little wider with 205's & have a couple of questions:
1. Do I keep the 60 profile?
2. Any 205/60 R15 recommendations for spirited Sunday driving?
3. Any other alternative sizes/tyres/suggestions you'd like to recommend?

My 81 GTV also has 205/55R15s (on Simmons alloys), currently fitted with Goodyear Assurance ArmorGrip that I found were pretty good. However I've been advised these are no longer available in that size, which seems to be a slightly unusual one.
I was recommended that I replace them with Dunlop Sp Sport Fast Response - but I haven't yet, so can't say whether they are any good.
I have just put 195/55 Yokohama Advan Neova AD08Rs on my GTV6 and they are great. I don't expect they will last all that long but then I don't do a lot of klms
So if I don't want to mess up the speedo I should be shopping for 205/55 R15?
Anyone comment on a notable difference in handling/steering/parking from 195 to 205??.. I imagine not?
GeeTV, not sure how accurate this is but I have checked my speedo against a mobile phone GPS-based app, and my speedo reading is typically 3-5kmh higher than actual speed. I've got 205/55/R15s on my GTV.
Steering is fairly heavy in mine at parking speed, but I just put that down to the fact there is no power steering, and I have a small diameter steering wheel fitted. Otherwise handles fine, except feels a bit skittish in the wet because I am due for new tyres - bit like driving on semi-slicks at the moment.
I should have asked what suspension the car has in it. Mine has 29 mm front bars matching rear springs and revalved Konis plus a twin spark box and a 3.2 engine
I put Bridgestone RE003's and it transformed the car. Admittedly the old tyres were well and truly done but these are in another league.
Mine had 28mm TB's, roll centre correction and Bilstein B6's. The tyres really allowed me to make the most of the suspension upgrades. Didn't get a chance to test them on the track but wasn't able to test the limit of adhesion on the road as the speeds needed were just too high!
Also, I paid ~$650 for 4x 205/55/15.
I've heard good things about the RE003's!
My suspension is slightly modified & running some negative camber - Hence new tyres required!
I must admit, I'm a little nervous about moving away from the original 195/55R15.
- Will it be detrimental to handling?
- Will they rub on the guard?
- Will it leave an ugly gap between the tyre wall & the guard?
- Will I need to be Arnold to parallel park?
Then again, I am excited about a little extra width!! Heck we could all use some right??.. am I right? ;)
- More grip?
- Lower profile means less cornering 'roll'?
- More aggressive looking stance from rear?
