I have been doing some research on my 159. Seems the engines are tuned to European standards with emission controls. Also discovered the engine is capable of a higher performance. With this I ordered a Drake box from Italy, fitted it to my JTD Ti 2.4 diesel. After a few road tests and the car not accepting the box at setting 9, I worked my way down the settings to setting 7. The car accepts this setting and the difference is surprisingly good. Additional 30hp and an improvement in fuel efficiency.
Has anyone else tried a Drake box or similar in the car, if so how do you find it?
