I'm looking for an Alfetta 2.0 sedan, preferably an '83-'84 model in silver but i would consider any good cars and i'll pay top dollar for a good example.

Have you seen the '84 on eBay? I don't know anything about the car or owner but it looks like a mint car [apparent restoration with receipts]. Red though.

I think you are refering to the early Alfetta 1.8? Yes it looks lovely..but i really want a later 2.0 car. Thanks all the same

I've got a red 2L 84 GCL alfetta. Not sure if you're interested in looking interstate, I'm located in Launceston, Tas.
I'm not entirely sure if I'm wanting to sell it, I love the damn thing, but would be interested in talking to you about it if you're keen.

Depending if you wanted to do some work on one, there is this on Gumtree here in SA:

The ad does say that the engine has thrown a rod, but I'm sure a 2.0 litre Alfetta engine wouldn't be that hard to find. The rest of the car seems to be in quite good condition. And it's not the biggest job to swap an engine.
