Should be an interesting day.

Can't wait to see what my 156 has got under the hood.

You better make me last, wouldn't want to bust up the dyno with all my horses before anyone else gets a chance to be on the dyno  ;)

Had a great day! Nice to meet a few new faces.

Your car nearly flew off that dyno with all that HP Krys!

I told Shu nothing, although word is now out on the street about your ball-tearing motor...

Thanks to everyone who joined us at Dyno Day on Saturday! It was a good turn-out with around 40 cars clearing out the cobwebs on the Dyno. Thankfully no cars launched themselves off the dyno (despite even Krys_Raw's 156 JTS putting down some serious untamed horses). The results will be posted in the coming Club Magazine.

Special thanks to ColCol for managing the chaos out on the street and thanks to John H for the handy BBQ work.

This was my first club organised event where I met a good number of Alfa owners. Thanks Bix.
Very well run and I am pleased with my sedate touring car!

LOL!

Only if you put your place your balls on the fly wheel  :o

I'm all good with my 156 being a show pony rather than a race horse  ;D

I'm thinking the guy who brought in his race track Lotus Elise with the Honda Civic engine did well at 272hp at the wheels  :o

A few years ago my 2002 JTS did 98.3 Horse Power or for you kids out there 73.3 kilowatts, according to Alfa Romeo it is 165 Horse Power or 121 kilowatts from a good engine at the flywheel.
But when it came off the dyno, the dashboard was lit up like a christmas tree, the traction control, sorry ASR, that is Anti Slip Regulator was swithed on, and like a good nanny, it sensed that the front wheels were spinning really fast and the back wheels were not, so it was cutting out the engine to slow down the front wheels.
The 156 JTS has 98.3 gees gees and the 33 had about 80, but the 156 is more powerfull than the 33 and feels a lot more than the 20 horses suggested,
Has a twin spark 156 got traction control?, a twin spark 147 has, as it is built into the vehicle dynamic control or stability control, Colin.

I think the Lotus pulled 270kW Krys.

The 156 Twinnie only has ABS.
