Post by: colcol on May 04, 2013, 12:29:15 PM
In The Bendigo Advertiser there is an article on the Sunday Run to Ballarat.
By Adele Brooks.
"Bendigo Alfa Owners set to take scenic route"
While most will enjoy a sleep in this Sunday, The Bendigo Chapter of The Alfa Romeo Club will take an early morning run to Ballarat, by run they mean a scenic drive with other Alfa Drivers from the Goldfields district.
A convoy will complete the run at Peter Stevens Motorworld in Creswick Road, Ballarat. The dealership will provide a free barbeque lunch and display. Vintage, classic and current Alfa Romeo models will be on show.
Barry Williams, convenor of the Bendigo and Goldfields Chapter of The Alfa Romeo Club, said all Alfa Romeo drivers were welcome. Anyone who has an Alfa Romeo, whether they are a member of the club or not is immaterial. They are most welcome to come along,he said.
Club member Barry Edmunds, said the group was very diverse and there was something for every taste, "Its a lot of fun, and there is always something to do".
