Title: Phillip Island Classic Competitors
Post by: Neil Choi on March 03, 2013, 06:29:45 PM
As mentioned on another thread, Phillip Island Classic Festival of Motor Sport is upon us, 8-10 March.

Many Vic Alfa's on track in regularity (Paul Chaleyer, Giulietta Spyder), Julian Valmorbida (105) and Richard East (105 GTV), in Group Sb (Dominique Chaleyer, Giulia 1750) and Group Sc (Chris Blanden, Giulia 105 GTV), Hung Do, Glen Campbell and Neil Choi (Alfetta GTV's).

Plus 1 WA Alfisti (Ron Lally, Sb) and 10 NSW Alfisti's (Colin Wilson-Brown, Sb, Rob Berson Sb, Steve Contantinidis, Sc, Lyndon McLeod, Sc, Richard Knox, Sc, Colin Connaughton, Sc, Urs Muller, Sc, Steve Smith, Sc, Danny Gatto, Sc, and Bill Magoffin, Group C).

Others in regularity include Geoff Burgess (1750), Peter Donald (GTV 2000), Raymond Osborn and Peter Jakrot (GTV) (all NSW).

Special mention of Trevor Montgomery in the Little Alfa, plus Joe Nastasi (USA) in the T33SC12 and two other USA drivers in the T33/2.

See you all there, either in the paddock or on the track.

Some of us will be camped in the grassy area just behind Honda Corner.

As the VRA saying goes, "When the flag drops, NO MATES!!!"

If you are coming down and in an Alfa, preferably an Alfetta, let us know, we might need your Alfa for parts.

Thanks fine . I will probably be down on Friday. Any idea on how long the walk back to Melbourne is.

Gully,

I am sure your TS gearbox will come in handy at some stage.

Do let us know you are coming.

We have a parking pass for you to park next to us in the paddock, makes it less of a walk and easier to get the parts needed.

Yep. Fingers crossed it stays that way.

I'll be down on the weekend, but leaving the spare twinspark transaxle behind, and bringing the 159 to be safe.
