Title: 2600 Sprint
Post by: OnceWasAlfisti on November 08, 2012, 09:18:43 PM
Hello,

I've just joined and I'm looking for advice. Or counselling. I'm in Melbourne with a 2600 Sprint in old-home Townsville. For many years I had intended to bring the car down and do what should be done - drive it and not just have a work of art. But, but...... I am just not in a position to do this, young family and all etc etc.

How should I divest? Should this be on the Announcements board?

Regards

David B

Welcome David,

Sorry you have to move on the Alfa (I felt sad everytime I had to sell one!) but yeah just put a post in the buy/swap/sell section.

Put in a decent description and any pics if you have (that helps) and a price, if you want.

Cheers.

Also, drop in to our Spettacolo next week as we will have a 2600 display as its the 50th Anniversary of the model.

Speak to a few other owners and get some ideas, look at some options, possible transportation etc.

Good advice from John,

I own a few 2600's so getting to know the cars well (enough?) - happy to chat at Spettacolo and offer advice....

David, I believe the best solution for all concerned would be to give the car to me for safe-keeping....... ;)
