Title: Alfa Romeo and Fiat change hands in Australia

No more Fiat and Alfa Romeo for Ateco.

Wonder if Mr. Chrichton will sell his G1 now....

Its going to be a bloody big job to pick that Alfa Romeo logo off the spinnaker

John Bertrand used to head of North Sails about  25 years ago. He's not doing much at the moment ( apart from Couta Boats & Etchells ) could be a job for him.

And to be honest I'm so far out of touch with the world of yachts these days they could be out of business for all I know!

Seeing we that this far off topic, i can probably tell you this little story. One of the old American  sail makers who has gone out of business is "Hard Sails". When you purchased new sails you used to get one of their tee shirts with the following message on the back "Sail with a Hard On ". How could you go broke with marketing like that.

It was renamed Shockwave in 2010 for the last 2 races of the season in the Mediterranean when the sponsorship ended and then sold after the final race.

seems that was number 1
