Title: Alfa Romeo decals on Brembo front callipers
Post by: Astroboy on May 13, 2011, 11:22:16 AM
Ciao Alfisti,
Wondering if anyone has a heads up as to the Alfa decals for front callipers, the gta callipers have lost their shine and I would like to give them a spruce up... Any info would be welcome
Respect... ??? ???

You can have some heat-resistance stickers 'vinyl cut'. A fellow Alfista, Damien Corney, runs GRAFICO, and he has produced exactly these stickers for other people in the past. Give him a call to discuss your needs; he may actually have some spares; at worst, he has the 'template' on his database to feed his cutter and could produce a set without issues.

So you probably want to prep/clean your calipers, respray in red (caliper paint), sand smooth, and apply the decals. Then respray in clear.

:)

And for those that don't have sexy calipers like me you can go on Ebay and buy some BREMBO genuine imitation plastic covers to slip over your boring calipers with the words BREMBO in bright plastic, which would be able to be read for at least 10 minutes until they get covered in brake dust, they are designed to last at least to the first time the brakes get hot, and the silicon that is used to hold the clams on the calipers falls off, Colin.
