Title: Correct ECU for 1985 Alfa GTV6

Who knows what the correct ECU is for an 1985 Alfa GTV6 2.5 litre. The current ECU in my GTV6 is 0280001117. I can't seem to find anywhere where it says that this the correct ECU for the car.
This no. keeps popping up 0280001113. Can anyone shed some light on what is correct? My mechanic believes that its playing up and needs replacing. Cheers Brad

Brad im in a different state.. but i believe i have an orginal ECU in the garage im happy to look tomorrow and let you know what number is on it..

Try this link, it suggests ....1117 is correct. I have used it for research into related matters previously
