Title: 75 TS sump plug
Post by: Badwolf75 on January 07, 2011, 12:50:31 PM
Hi all

I'm about to perform an oil change on my 75 TS for the first time. I haven't been able to get underneath and have a look at the sump plug yet, and just wanted to make sure I have the right tools for the job before I start.

Does it just have a standard head on it (ie, would fit your run-of-the-mill metric socket, like my previous cars), or do I need to get something specific? Does anyone know off the top of their head what size it is? I looked in the workshop manual that I have, but couldn't find the answers (might be considered too basic to put in there)

Thanks in advance

I've done some more reading, and it looks like most TS engines use either an 8mm allen or ribe key for the sump plug, so I guess I've answered my own question.

Cheers  :)
