Title: Meaning of "Alfa Romeo"
Post by: Sheldon McIntosh on July 14, 2009, 05:53:48 PM
Just downloading watching the current series of Top Gear on the net, and apparently 'Alfa Romeo' is Latin for "..yes I will, but only because of your special car..."

Last time she said "yes I will" my '82 GTV6 ended up with a Mars bar smeared all over the front velour seat; who carries a Mars in the back pocket ?

QuoteMarianne Faithful?
Sheldon, that would be the most historically witty thing i have read this year. Both Mick Jagger & Van Morrison remember Marianne Faithful & Mars Bars very fondly in their memoirs.
