Title: Lunacy in a Veyron
Post by: Barry Edmunds on April 03, 2009, 09:40:32 AM
In what could only be described as a step close to lunacy a German-based tuner has produced a specially customised version of the Bugatti Veyron with an extra 108 horses, taking its already more than enough power output to an unbelievable 1109 bhp, which will in turn propel the Veyron beyond the magical 250mph, yes that is right 250mph. The aluminium bonnet and side skirts of the 'standard' Veyron have been replaced with lighweight carbon fibre, as if the standard Veyron really needed any weight reducing.
I guess this could only come under the 'because they can category'

Yep another totally senseless attempt to make a great car (arguably the best in the world) faster? what for? so some wanker can pay another $mil over the sticker of approx $1.8m to go a couple of tenths faster to 100kph? Here's the link to the story
