Its a remarkable (and welcome) turnaround from a group that only a few years ago seemed intent to dismiss and forget most of it's past.
hopefully means that it will be possible to source some unicorns - like original striped velour trim for my GTV.

I am afraid it’s a fact of life that car manufacturers stop producing parts after 10 years of model has ceased production. Luckily enough some organizations take up the slack when this occurs, but from my experience don’t cover interiors items such as OEM seat covers, door cards, trims, etc (unless you want vinyl or leather). For these types of items, the owners have to rely on second hand parts which they need to refurbish/recondition. Just in the past 2 years, I needed to arrange recondition of seats, door cards, dashboard, steering wheel and now it looks like chrome plated dashboard trims for my Alfetta GTV. I suppose this is one of the challenges/joys faced when owning older vehicles.
