Hi,

This may of been canvased before, but am struggling to decipher all the markings on my GTV6 engine. The engine number has the prefix of AK01646 (2.5L) however has the ALPHA symbol then number 3 then the letter D one head and S on the other head stamped on the head.

I have photos but couldn't upload.

What do the markings on the head mean?

I can help you with the D and the S
"d" is Destra which means Right side
ans "s" is sinistra which means left side
hope this helps a bit
