Title: upholstery trimming melbourne
Post by: Clive Minchin on September 02, 2016, 08:49:16 PM
HI All
Wondering if anyone can recommend an upholsterer in the Eastern Suburbs. I have a 1974 105 2000GTV and I'd like the seats rebuilt. The cushions have lost any thickness and the headrest winders don't work.

Also has anyone bought the seat replacement cover seats from somewhere like Alfaholics?

Hi Clive,

I can highly recommend Cel at Design Auto Interiors on Malvern St in Bayswater.

He has done the upholstery work on many restoration projects for us.

Cheers.

Mick.

+1 for Cel. He did a magic job on my sons BMW a couple of years ago at a very reasonable rate

+1 Cel opposite Monza Motors.
He has done a couple of my cars and is fantastic!
Best Regards

I'm about to find out!

After finalising the large list of parts I require, orders are about to go to Alfaholics, Classic Alfa and EB Spares for various items.

I've read good reports on the Italian-sourced retrim kits these businesses offer, and Classic Alfa also now sell replacement shaped foam backs and bases for the 2000 seats, so these will be part of my order.
