Title: V6 Water Pumps
Post by: Duk on September 08, 2011, 11:50:25 AM
Are the 2.5 litre water pumps the same as the 3 litre pumps?
My 75 has the pump with the removable pulley but I'm hoping that the earlier pumps that have the integrated pulley will give me a little bit more room for the supercharger drive belt.

not shore about the water pump but how is the 75 coming along .
If it works well I'm think the same way (supercharger)

Slowly........
I've been busy trying to get 1 of my other cars sorted.
Planned progress maybe changing from 'get everything done and put the car back on the road' to 'get the some of the major stuff done and get the car back on the road as a rolling project'.
Major stuff being the rear brakes, lightened and balanced engine flywheel, get the clutch flywheel balanced, sort out the Nissan/VL Commodore engine management system and put the battery in the boot.

My 2.5 has a pressed on pulley and my spare "Firepower" brand water pump is the same.  I think it's luck of the draw as I doubt separate listings would exist.
