Title: Battery Alfetta 1.8 Sedan
Post by: RLeT on September 03, 2018, 11:12:19 PM
Hi Fellow Alfisti,

I'm looking for recommendations on a good battery for an Alfetta 1.8 sedan.  Is there anything particularly good, or any lemons that I need to avoid?

Thanks in Advance.

Richard.

I'd suggest unless you're seriously driving the car, an OEM size battery in calcium alloy with the highest CCA you can afford.

Century give the dimensions as per their "NS70" model, viz:

L 259
W 171
H 202

Terminals are above that for a total height of about 225mm. When you are looking at the long side of the battery with terminals closest, positive is on the left and is a standard round post.

Thanks CB. The century was what I was thinking of, and I noticed that the recommended one from Supercheap had 720 CCA. It was the model that you  have mentioned here, and the dimensions will really help me, so thanks very much for that.

Cheers, Richard.
