If you're still making oil sump guards for the 75, I'd love to buy one. Maybe PM me if you are, to arrange.
:)
Thanks for the PM. :)
Regarding the BORG tripmeter, are you saying this is plug-and-play into any 75? ie: could I fit one into my '89 3.0, to replace the clock?
:)

http://www.cardomain.com/ride/3805304/1987-alfa-romeo-milano/page-19 my spelling in not that good I know"
Nice work on the headlight switch. I need to drill out and replace that indicator cancelling pin too. I would highly recommend installing a pair of headlight relays too, one of my headlight switches had a partial meltdown
Scott
thanks. If you need any small parts let me know
Clever and thorough work; thanks for sharing.
I had to do similar with the stalk on my 155 (though I had replacement innards from a spare stalk I bought). Always fun opening up a casing and have springs pop out. :P
Hey,
I have a couple of reconditions switches for $150ea plus changeover if you're interested.
Could have saved ya a bit of time.
what the. $150 bucks -------I could get 3 for thats cash
Good old Uncle Joe at "Many Millions" offered me a new one in the plastic bag and all for only $450, but that was a year or two ago, who know's what he would want for it now. I think I've ended up with one of Dom's recos via Milano's, still works to this day, cheers mate
you guys can buy them for http://www.aresespares.com.au/2nd%20hand%20stuff.html
hope that helps

Mate, looking at the photo's you put up about fixing the switches, it doesn't look like you fixed much internally or their commons faults.
I've reconditioned these switches for a couple of years now and never had any problems and have always replaced the internals with new better parts.
I can get 3 switches for the same money as well, but they will be second hand and probably break/stuff up like the rest of them.

Thanks Anthony, you probably do have one i reconditioned for Marc. Uncle Joe would probably want twice that now, but then again it is "genuine"
How's the 75 going at the moment?

don't look now i've dune it again with a 911 airmeter body 75 ele and plug .
Thank to Duk for the idea and steve for the 75 airflow meter.

Nice.
So what have you had to do with the internals? Swap over which parts? And what's the plan with the piping to make it fit the car?
Is it meant to definitely make a noticable difference? I wonder if anyone's dyno'd such a mod.
:)
gday m8,
I've transfored the all for the top eg;plug ,strip, arm of the 75 one into the body of the 911 porsche flowmeter body .
Tonight I 've used a heatgun to fit the back pipe next is the airbox .
Would you like more photos of that ? :D
I love seeing photos - so, of course. ;D
Because asked m8 I have done it for you . :) ;) :D ;D
please ask q/a
Cheers. Good work.
It'll be interesting to hear if you think it's made a difference. Though it could be hard to assess if you haven't driven the car much. :P
Slowy slowy catchy monkey :-X
Besides it cost me $500 to get the front bumper painted in 2pak AR130.
I have the exhaust and rear bumper to work on, alot to do with no money!
Cheers
i just painted my front grill, front and rear bumper ,side skirts , the out side door trims and the bottom half of my doors in automotive 2k for Nothing :). Not cheapo product either.
hey Storm,
painting for free, I need more friends like yours. lol ;D
I would like to get your guys thoughts on the back bumper photos on page 15 down the bottom of the page
Is it a good look or crap? I pulled a chome ring off a LPG filler cap.
http://www.cardomain.com/ride/3805304/1987-alfa-romeo-milano/page-15
Around the exhaust tip? If it's smoothed into the bumper and sprayed red like the bumper, it'll look nice, IMO.
:)
where does the exhuast tip go, if you coved up the gap ?
So when you bought the evo kit what did you exactly buy ??
oh and i painted everything my self, i just supplied a few paint items and the rest my boss kindly let me borrow.
I put the exhaust through the bumper because it skraps on speed bumps ,diveways and spoon drains.
I got a Veloce front and back bumpers and the 2lt side skirts but I am not liking the back bumper. It looks too big, so thats why
I'm look at options & ideas for some small improvements that looks better.
Driving it, the back a bit happy (sideways) you have to be on your game to dive it.
YES ! :D I have finely got my veloce bumper painted and fitted to the car .
It's painted in 2 pac 130 red looks slittly darker then the 555 red but look's good .
only rear bumper to paint and new exaust to be made up with the SSteel muffers
I'm think 1 1/2 " pipe from the headers too 2 1/2" .? ???
http://www.cardomain.com/ride/3805304/1987-alfa-romeo-milano/page-15
It should look and sounds great when you're done! Keep it up.
:)
hi guys ,
just got my rest of my kit back from the paint shop .
It's very red .
just a couple of shots of the car but still not finished .
I have to up grade the exhaust .
