Title: Odometer wind back, how?
Post by: herman6909 on April 13, 2021, 01:37:58 PM
HI, all. I have a 99 156 TS and have recently bought and stripped an 04 156. I want to use the gauges off the newer car in the old one, I like the black more than the white that is on mine.
Now.
1. The 04 car had a bout 100k more on it than mine and I was wondering if it is possible to reset the odo to resemble the mileage on my car?
2. The 04 gauges have moved a lot of warning light to the main gauges (speedo and rev counter) that were previously in the central display area. An example is the open boot light, which on the '99 car is illustrated as part of a graphic of the car in the central info panel. Now the problem are that these lights are permanently on after connecting the newer gauges to my car, logically so. How can I change this? Does anyone have wiring diagram for the gauges?
