Hey Alfpa Repairs, What's happening?
you know the scary thing is I remember watching on TV these alfa GTV6 when they were hard at it, and thats some 30 ish years ago, Bummer !! Dave
Sorry for dragging up an old thread, but I just came across this video again and it put such a grin on my face I just had to bump this thread in case anyone missed it. Classic video. Make sure to watch the end with the Ignis rally car footage.
hmmm,
a little hairy at the end of the stage... i wonder what the result of that move was but i think i can guess?
How good were the old touring cars? Maybe now Nissan is back, plus some others, it may not be so boring.
The old touring cars were great, their own DNA, 4's vs 6's vs 8's, different manufacturers, this track suits this car, but that track suited the other make, the bad news is all the new 'Car of the Future', all the cars are all the same, gearbox, diff, motor, suspension, brakes, nothing to pick between them, the only difference will be the different grille and outer panels, you will most likely tell the difference by the different paint schemes and sponsors, the up side is that the best team and driver will win as all the cars are equal, as the touring car overlords want it, Colin.

Actually, the footage at the end can't be "rally" footage, If you look closely, you will see only 1 occupant in the car, no navigator. Maybe it is a hill climb?
