Reminder.  The EMR is on this Sunday.
We will have an entertaining course covering both the Black Spur and Reefton Spur.  Nice.
Drop me a line if you would like to come.

Cheers,

Thanks to all who helped make this event a success. The weather was accommodating and we had a nice and varied selection of cars including a 1923 RL, classic Giulias (including a GTA), some very tidy Alfetta coupes, 147s. 156s, 159s, and a Brera.  Non Alfas included Ferrari porn, a BMW M3 CSL and a Volkswagen Polo!!!
The return drive was reminiscent of the Bond film, Quantum of Solace, with three 159s driving in close formation along some twisty and undulating back roads.  Except that we didn't fall off the road.
The Black Spur was a non-event due to the prick in the Subaru Liberty who taped a photo of a clear road to his/her rear view mirror.
However, the drive down the Reefton Spur was the highlight of the day.
Thanks again.

Yes, thanks a lot Marco for organising the event, the roads were sensational, and if it wasn't a Subaru, it would be something else, most likely Toyota, anyone who doesn't try one of these events is missing out on a lot of fun, its like i want to go for an interesting drive, but i don't know where to go, someone has already worked out where to go, and you just tag along with us, the most interesting car, for me was the Citreon-Maserati, that is Citreon purchased Maserati in the early 70's and did a sporty Citreon, and Maserati supplied the motor, heard about these cars, but never seen one, goes well to kept up with all the Alfa's, then we had lunch, with lots of yakking and stories and a nice lunch, then i was back in Melbourne by 4-30, thanks to current model register captain Marco, see you all on the next run, Colin.
