Due to popular demand, The Club has organized another EMR an EMR from Melbourne through the South Western region.to Ballarat area. Shane Wescott (116 Series Register Captain) is planning a great drive with a convenient start point ending at a local Goldfields pub for lunch.
Start Time: 8.30 am for 9.00 am departure.

This will be an easy cruise over the Westgate Bridge and through the Brisbane Ranges and surrounding countryside. The Club will have a morning tea stop at Meredith where we can have a relaxing coffee. This location will is also a good photo opportunity to show off the attending cars.
Members of the Club who live in Macedon and Goldfields region are encouraged to attend.
We will then continue to our lunch venue where a full menu is available. The Red Lion Hotel has a good reputation and is a favorite with the locals and we look forward to their hospitality. There will be an emphasis on a rewarding drive and good food.

Club Members with any Alfa Romeo re encouraged to attend. For club members and friends with vintage and historic vehicles, we suggest an earlier departure at 9.00 am sharp so we can all meet up at the same time for morning tea. Route instructions will be provided at the start.

Just a heads up for anyone planning on filling the car with V-power at the Westgate service centre departure point.
These are now United outlets and not Shell.
What time and where in Meredith will the break be? As I live close and might pass by to have a chat and admire some of the cars

Thank you to Shane Westcott and John Hanslow for organising the Cruise to Ballarat, there was a good mix of modern and older Alfa Romeo models, with a potential new member in a new Fiat 500, [Andy], he must have been a good bloke, cause he used to have a 33, we stopped off at Merideth for morning tea and then on to the Red Lion Hotel in Ballarat for lunch, the menu had everything you could ever ask for, the roads were a good mix of freeway and twisty back roads, no dirt roads at all, the weather was ok, [unlike Saturday], with a sprinkling of rain just to make the roads interesting, i travelled about 350 klms today, had a great time, good one Shane and John, Colin.

Had a cruise around Ballarat afterwards with the temperature hovering around a " balmy 5 -6 degrees" with light drizzle , Great place for a coffee
