Title: 164Q oil warning light
Post by: Joe Garra on July 30, 2012, 12:44:00 AM
I thought I had solved the problem 15 years ago. The light only came on when the battery power was low, so usually an overnight trickle charge would fix it. Recently it came on again, and this time a recharge and a change of battery didn't fix it. Any suggestions? Thanks.

Joe,

Assuming/hoping your engine is okay I would be looking into the Alfa Romeo Control (ARC) unit as this controls many of these functions. I too have a Q and my brake warning lights have been coming and I know the fluid and pads are okay. Reading the manual suggests it monitors all these functions and puts up a light if it thinks there is a problem. This is where I would start looking.
