Title: Another electrical problem...
Post by: zcard on October 08, 2019, 05:48:54 PM
Hi all,

Currently, on my alfa 156, my indicators don't work when I use the stalk, my windshield wipers don't work, windows don't go down and seat does not recline.

I've checked all relays and fuses I believe (Not sure which one/s would regulate these). Unsure of what to do now!

Kind Regards,
Zac

Ahhhh, isn't the seat recline on your 156 manually with the wheel on the side of the seat?  ???

Check the Main Services Fuses in the fuse box under the dash by drivers knee.

There is also another fuse box mounted above that one as well.

Then check all the fuses in the engine bay.

Ahh perfect Bazz, was in the upper fuses (7.5 amp).

And yeah, my chair reclines by switch.

Cheers

Hey Baz,

The late model JTS Ti's had electric reclining seats.

Fun fact, there's still the plug there for them on the earlier models, so you can actually upgrade seats if you so desire.

Mick.

His is a 2001 156 Twinspark Manual (with Throttle Cable), hence my query.

Obviously someone has done a upgrade/refit of sorts.
