Title: What to do for the Alfa Centenary Weekend
Post by: shane wescott on May 03, 2010, 10:14:12 PM
Hi Guys

Just a survey if you like.

I know some of the club members are travelling over to italy for the whole "surround Milan" experience for the Jun 26/27th, but what do the rest of us do:

1. Buy a case of Peroni and drink it while working on your latest "Summer Project"
2. Plaster some Alfa stickers all over and streak up Lygon Street.
3. Buy a nice italian red and sit there watching Victory by Design - Alfa Romeo on replay for the whole day

Or do we do something useful:

1. Sort out some sort of dinner somewhere with an Italian Theme
2. Organise a weekend away run to some where - maybe cars wine and olives.
3. Maybe have a New Members night at a dealership with drinks and nibbles etc on the Saturday Night

Open to any suggestions.

Only the SA branch seesm to be doing something on the night (a dinner) maybe we could even hook up a video link between the two events :-)

So lets see what people want to do and see what we can organise as a social function/celebration. Put your ideas forward (however amusing) and we can also potentially discuss this at the club night.

Catch ya

Shane and Kerry

There was a rumour that every state club in Australia would hold a diner at the same time ?

May be getting booking a restaurant independantly in each state is to be decided ?
