Title: One for You Colin
Post by: aggie57 on February 17, 2012, 07:57:57 AM
Spotted on Mont Albert Rd in Canterbury this morning around 7am.  P plates and late registration....thought you'd enjoy that Colin.

And a real Alfa as well, no matter what anyone says: only one brake light!

Beleive it or not, from memory i have never replaced any globes in my 33, i have pulled them out and cleaned them and upgraded the reversing globes with L.E.D.'s, i beleive this is due to poor wiring that causes voltage drop, so the globes don't get a good dose of electricity and the Alternator is only 45 amps thats very rarely goes over 13 volts, the 156 on the other hand, very good thick wiring, causing no voltage drop, canbus electrical system and a over 100 amp Alternator, all the lights are nice and bright, but in 3 years ownership i have replaced 1 number plate globe, 1 LHS parker, 1 LHS low beam, 1 LHS high beam, RHS parker, RHS low beam, i know because i have a light that shines on the dashboard when a globe blows, a lot of swearing is involved in replacing the front ones, Colin.
