As 160 Register Captain I have been asked for my recomendations of the best presented examples of club members models in the 160 series. Now I know quite a few 75s and a couple of 164s that are very tidy indeed but the only 90s I know are well...one's a tow car and another is Sheldon's Ironsides, both fine automobiles just not shiny enough(no offence Sheldon). So show us your 90, I know they're out there, I need a local car but I 'm still keen to see some nice Alfa sedans from all over so post some pics of your 90
Cheers
here is 3 of them
and the other 3
the grey one

the grey one
IMHO also the best looking 90 of you collection, I like those rims on it.
Gimme 1-2 months and I'll have a quite presentable 90....I hope! :D
Colour being sprayed today!
Regards, Andrew.
I'll try and get some glamour shots of my reborn 90 this weekend if the perth weather holds out long enough...
Wow, some great looking cars there. 8)
Dehne, your grey one looks nice and tidy(leading the pack at the mo) IMHO would look better with the wheels from the blue one but then again I think all 160 series cars look better with spoked wheels :D
Andrew & Rocco, look forward to seeing those pics.
Sheldon, how about a pic of your roadie?
C'mon the rest of you 90 lot, so far we've seen 6 cars all from the one owner, there must be more 90s than that out there
if i get this front shock tower done by nov im going to bring down for sepp
Not my photo, but my car:

They look good Dehne.
Those rims looks the goods on the 90.
John

Three beautiful cars, I reckon so far it's neck-and-neck between dehne's grey one (nice looking car dehne, how far is it lowered at the front?), WETPRICKLES' bluey (needs to be lowered at the front), and going by Typhoon90s progress his will be rolling off the showrooom floor by November. And none of them are from Melbourne, who's going to make the long drive to Spettacolo to feature in the big day?
Failing that, I reckon we display Robin's 90, install his new 500bhp V6, and just let people-who-don't-know-Alfas (or as I like to call them, weirdos) think that the 90 was the fastest car Alfa ever made.
Another pic of Prickles' 90, taken from my 90 in the line-up at PI earlier this year.
Ironsides. Function over form. It's more fun passing a Porsche when your car is this ugly.

I think we could display Robin's 90 and Alan Goodall's 75 and a few others in the SFA (stupidly fast alfas) section.
Dehne, your white 90 Super has scrubbed up quite alright after a good tub, did you polish it as well and would you consider putting the original wheels back on just for this excercise, we need the cars to look as close to original as possible.
Wetprickles, lovely example, fancy a boat ride?
You have seen my red 90 when it was for sale on your side of Oz.(It's done less than 90,000 km's from new)
John
im going to bring one of the down for the show i would prefer to bring the grey one hopefully the shock tower is done and a little rust cut from the front gaurd, if not will bring the white one as its stock standard and i will put the orig rims on which ever i bring down, no polish on either just washed, as far as ive worked out with papers ect the white one has only done 170,000 where the grey one is up to 500,000 and going strong

Looking good John.
Mike has a great 90 Super down in Hobart, although the paint is a little faded, it runs drives better than mine.

If everything is o.k. with cylinder heads, meaning camshafts, valves and valve springs than some of your cylinders (liners) and pistons are worn out and need replacement.I had that case on my 3.0 V6 engine.
Sorry on off topic but I couldn't resist 8).
This is how good the Ugly Duckling can look.
A nice Dutch combination.
John
Looks like we will havea few 90's on the field. Any more and I will have to set up a specialty Wash'n Shine award due to a high volume of entrants.
Great to see that we have so many people volunteeing to present their cars on the day. This one could be a tough decision.
I have been recently offered a showroom low km car that is ownerd by an Alfa Specialist (not a sponser yet but has committed to advertise next year).
They also have very neat GTV, 164 and I think an Alfetta.
Hi here is my 90. Its a 1986 Super it has a 3 litre and extractors. That's about it. It could use a bit of tidying up but being a tow car for the race car it always seems to come last!
Has anyone else ever seen one in this colour? It's dark green.
How do you find the rear body structure holding up for towing? There's a whole lot of bugger all structurally behind the axle on these cars. It obviously works for you, must have a lot of towbar under there!
Regards, Andrew.
Hey Marcus, she scrubs up alright with a tub, thank Jebus we can wash our cars again.
Andrew, where are the glamour shots of yours mate?
If it stops raining here on the weekend, I'll try to snap a photo or two!
Regards, Andrew.
marcus thats one good looking 90 you got there,
the towbar looks a wholr lot better that the goose neck one on the inlaws 90 but it works fine and have used it to tow my racecar,
Thanks for the nice comments on the car. The tow bar is a factory one from an Alfetta but as you know same as 90 anyway. I have re enforced how it mounts so as it won't rip out the boot floor as well as it bolts to chassis.
