Hi Alfisti
Some facts to be aware of, if intending to ceramic coat your cars painted finish. Two important points include, the first being the need to properly clean your car prior to application and secondly the need to keep dry for a period of 7 days after application. I have attached a useful Youtube link for any person contemplating to carry out this treatment.

Ceramic coat before and after shots carried on my Alfetta GTV, which is standing up well nearly 2 years after application.
Had one of my cars done 4 years ago.
If not reapplied after a time and if it sits in the sun by the coast, the coating does not just fade away, but becomes like islands of ceramic protection.
The car was polished off the residual coating and waxed instead.
Would I do it again? Nope
Hi Australia
As you indicated the ceramic coating needs to be reapplied every 2 to 3 years to maintain that protection and shine for your daily driver.
I was sceptical at first until an AROCA NSW club night at VG Auto paints convinced me otherwise. They showed me the benefits and DIY video on how it is done and I can only speak of my experience. Find below is their video on the product preparation and its DIY application.

Seems this plus clear film is the thing to do for your Miami or Beverly Hills Porsche owner these days. Oh, and the almighty 'paint correction' of course. Lord knows why, regular washing and a decent coat of wax has always worked for me.
