Has anybody come up with a solution to the indicators not self cancelling other than sourcing a replacement part? I don't think they are available new anywhere.
Please note I am not referring to the indicator mechanism but the white plastic part that surrounds the steering column.
Thanks
Does nobody else have this problem? Or is there no ready solution except find a non-broken one!
I think I've got a metal canceling ring off of a 75 that I wrecked. Not sure if it was an early or late one as there have been a few.
I'll see if I can find it on the weekend.

Adelaide.
Most people probably don't even have indicators that lock in haha. I don't...
You probably need to rebuild the cancelling stub which has worn down I did this with soldering iron worked fine if want more detail let me know

What is the fix for indicators that don't lock in?
You can buy a new one from OKP Alfa Germany for about $100. I bought one a few years ago and it's excellent (white lettering only I think).
Hi Alanm. The unit from OKP looks pretty good - thanks! It will be added to the growing list of bits to replace!

No worries Colin, see you at the CAMS course in May.
