Title: Fuel pump
Post by: NigelC on May 03, 2018, 06:24:33 PM
I have a Fuel-Pump-BOSCH-FP9336 and before I rip apart my 156 to put in the new part, I was wondering about the rubber seal for the pump. Is there one, can you get new ones (I can't find any mention of one)

You can likely order the O-ring new if it's damaged, but normally they are fine. A light smear with petroleum jelly will reduce the chance of it tearing from a snag on the locking ring.

Having a suitable tool to remove and refit the locking ring, is the bigger issue! At least use the tri-legged $30 type, not a screwdriver and mallet.
