Title: Ferrari / Pininfarina Modulo now fully drivable and street registered.
Post by: ugame on August 17, 2018, 03:19:13 PM
One of the earliest memories I have, is of flicking over and over again through a "car book" full of wonderful illustrated pictures of amazing and futuristic machines.

Two that etched deeply into my memory were the Golden Arrow land speed record car and this......

(not the same image but I like this one....of course)

And now it would seem, finally, the "concept" has been made drivable, and more recently, fully street registered.

Yep -- the Modulo, Carabo and Marzal.  Cars that stick in your mind forever from leafing through Automobile Year in the late '70s.

Not a fan of it to be honest, kinda looks like a pancake with some wheels  ::)

I reckon the Countach that followed a few years after has aged much more gracefully.

Andrew.

It's just so 70's sci-fi that I cant help but love it. It represents a fantasy future/present we "could" have had.

Looks more like it should fly than drive.

Just add lasers :D
