Title: Windscreen seal repair - recommendations sought
Post by: SPDR76 on November 11, 2016, 04:43:17 PM
Hi
The seal on SPDR76 is leaking. No im not driving in the rain - but do have to mop and dry every time I wash. Can anyone recommend a careful and quality windscreen repairer - I'd rather fix only the seal if possible but will replace the screen if I have to. Inner South east suburbs convenient but not essential.
Cheers
Damian

Are you absolutely certain that the leak is coming from the rubber gasket around the windscreen, and not cracked or rotted cowl drain hoses?  These threads might offer some insight:

Thanks- helpful suggestion but yes I started with the same thought but have comprehensively eliminated all other possibilities and established it is definitely the screen seal. The good news is I now have new cowl drain hoses as well!
