Title: Replacement of front lower suspension arms- costs
Post by: Balmaino on August 10, 2017, 11:46:44 AM
Hey guys,

Just wondering if anyone has had this done.. the bushes on mine are apparently all worn out and need replacing before roadworthy.
Any idea how many hours labour should be involved? Also power steering rack end replacement

Thanks!!
:D

I'm picking up my 156 which is having lower fronts replaced today, so I can give you a guide later on.

OK - I am assuming the lower suspension arms on the 159 are similar to those on my V6 156 in terms of time to remove and refit.

In which case you are looking at about 3 hours labour, plus the cost of the parts.

Awesome thanks! Getting done this week. 3 hours is not so bad

I shopped around and bought new ones as part of total front end replacement for my Australian Brera. Best price was eb spares in UK.
Alfa God in Sydney (Max) reckons they are BETTER than the originals ones fitted when he did the overhaul.

Very cheap to install.
Going very well so far.
