1750 GTV console parts wanted

I'm hoping someone can point me in the right direction for the following 2 items i require for my center console;
1. The small plastic slide clip that joins the front and rear consoles together; and
2. The thin chrome trim that runs around the perimeter of both consoles
After having made a number of phone calls and scanning through various catalogs I'm still non the wiser.

1. Not sure do you mean the thin metal brackets (painted black) that joins the centre and rear consoles?



I got a pair of those from Rob Panetta in Sydney (Manning Motors).

2. Chris Sweetapple at http://www.highwoodalfa.com sells the thin chromed u-channel trim that edges the wood panels.  I bought 3 metres of it (see pic below).

I pictured the bracket or clip to be plastic but the image of the metal brackets shown make sense.
I'm guessing the image of the chrome strip is the left over and 3m should cover the two sections. Did the chrome trim have a self adhesive backing?

The brackets are fairly thin spring steel, painted black.  There's a thread about them over here: http://www.alfabb.com/bb/forums/gt-1965-1974/32279-bracket-center-console-gtv-1750mk1.html

I think that someone's remaking them, but I betcha there's a few second hand still kicking around.

The chromed plastic u-channel comes with no adhesive.  It slips over the edges of the timber inlay.  My original stuff (bit chipped and peeling) fits pretty snugly without needing glue.
