Not too sure about my models, Scott i am sure you can confirm if its a SUD?

Just a bit more fuel for the fire. :)

Unquestionably a series 1 Sud Ti.  Brilliant photo - where did that come from?  The guy looks suitably sad!

It says "Tarquini" on the window (I had to turn my laptop upside down) - however I don't recall ever hearing about
Gabriele Tarquini crashing an Alfasud...

Oh - and clearly the rollcage is holding it up.  A standard Sud would surely fold up like tinfoil if you flipped it on it's roof?  ;D

@ an MSCA sprint in 2005, Frank exited the previous "new" pitlane exit @ P.I., spotted a faster approaching car at the last second, moved out the way dropping 2 wheels off onto the grass.  The car took off over the infield, caught a gutter and flipped over and flattened itself almost down to the window ledges on the doors.

Frank's brother Joe was the next car out and quickly came to his aid, dragging Frank out thru the driver's window.

The bonnet, the only relatively unscathed portion of the car is hanging in Joe's garage in Ascot Vale workshop.
