Goldfields Chapter - February drive & dine

This is the first Goldfields Chapter event for 2024;

It will be held on Sunday 11th of February

From Ballarat, the drive will head east to Kyneton, for Morning Tea, then to Hanging Rock to visit the

2024 Annual Picnic at Hanging Rock Classic Car Show

After a brief visit to the car show, we'll head back to Kyneton for lunch at the Kyneton Hotel (TBC).

Please Note: The tickets for the Classic Car Show at Hanging Rock will cost $25 per car (irrespective of the number of passengers). However, this ONLY provides general parking inside Hanging Rock reserve and pedestrian entry to the Show.

For those that would like to visit the Car Show, we plan to car pool from Kyenton - 4 people per car (i.e. approx $6 per person).

We currently have two Giulias doing the run from Kyneton to Hanging Rock - allowing for up to six passengers as well as the drivers. Additional cars can be included in the group run to Hanging Rock if required.

Booking Arrangements:

Booking for the Drive &/or the Lunch is essential! Bookings close on Wednesday February 7th! Dont delay.

Please advise the following:

The number of people doing lunch in Kyneton.
How many people want a lift to attend the Car Show (i.e. as passengers).
Whether you want to take your own car on the run to Hanging Rock Reserve, and if so, how many passengers could you accommodate.

For people that don't want to attend the car show, you could have an extended morning tea, stroll Kyneton's historic streets, do a bit of window shopping, or maybe all of the above then meet the full group at the Kyneton Hotel for lunch.

Those that are travelling up from Melbourne have the option of dropping in on the Car Show or heading directly to the Kyneton Hotel for lunch.

Tickets to participate in the Hanging Rock Classic Car Show cost $12ea but must be purchased on-line prior to the event. If you choose this option, you probably wont also be able to join the Club lunch in Kyneton.
