Spettacolo Show & Shine

The Spettacolo Show & Shine will be held at Wesley College's Glen Waverley Campus.

With its close to perfect surface, the well manicured field at Wesley College, with the college as a backdrop, is the perfect venue for the display of the 300 Alfa Romeos and other classic Italian cars expected on the day.

The deadline for entry in the Show & Shine competition is the morning of Spettacolo itself! No pre-registration is required.

When you arrive at the Spettacolo Show & Shine you will need to pay an entry fee ($10 per car) to display your Alfa on the field. You will also be given a Show & Shine entry form/score sheet. Entry into the Show & Shine competition is optional.

The Show & Shine competition will be judged on vehicle presentation on the field. Judges will inspect your car's exterior and interior for cleanliness. The competition categories are defined by the Club's Register Captains. Cleanest wheel arches will be the tie breaker.

Your preparation for the Show & Shine is an excellent opportunity to have a close look at those parts of the car that we often miss with our regular wash and polish routine. Using the specially formulated cleaning and polishing products available today, together with basic tools such as soft brushes and cotton buds will make a big difference to the presentation of your car.

The same applies to the interior. A thorough cleaning of the interior – with special attention to any bright work, wood work and the inside of the glass – often makes driving the car a much greater pleasure.

Even if you don't wish to enter the Show & Shine competition, bring your Alfa along and display it along with the others and be part of the largest all-Alfa Romeo display in the southern hemisphere.

There will be plenty of delicious food and refreshments available, as well as Alfa Romeo merchandise, trade stands and displays by the event's supporters, Alfa Romeo Dealers, Club advertisers and sponsors.

As usual this year, we have food, including pizza & pasta, great coffee and a sausage sizzle with some shade tents provided for your convenience. However, bring your own chairs and picnic table if you wish. We will also have activities for the kids which will include face painting near the food court.
