While there are good and valid reasons for the delay in being able to meet our New Members in person, your AROCA (Vic) committee feels we cannot defer some form of meeting any longer. We fully intend to provide an opportunity for you to meet face-to-face at a venue where can socialize later this year and we look forward to seeing you then.
Our first meeting will therefore be done online via Zoom. The date we have chosen is Wednesday July 28th at 7:30pm. We require you to register your intention to take part by emailing me at membership@alfaclubvic.org.au so that you can be sent the ‘invitation’ to join the meeting at that time. New Members from April 2020 until the present will be emailed inviting you to take part.
It would seem reasonable for you to be introduced to members of the committee and for the president to talk about the club, but it would seem just as important for as many as possible of the members attending to make a contribution. We hope you will enjoy the chance to interact with other New Members. I’m sure it would be interesting to find out such things as –
- What prompted you to join the club?
- Why you like Alfa Romeo cars?
- What car(s) do you own?
- Would you consider taking part in a Sunday Drive?
- Whether you are already a motor sport enthusiast?
- What type of club activities would you like to take part in?
We are very keen to let you know what advantages Club membership can provide for you, who can talk to and where you might go to maximize the benefits on offer.
If you are not familiar with Zoom meetings, please contact us as we have technical help available on the night. Above all keep checking your email mailbox for information about this function.
