Forays in the Snowys
Part II of the Alfisti Autumn Tour 2021
Monday 12th April to Wednesday 14th April
(Commences the day after Auto Italia Canberra)
An Alfisti Autumn Tour through The Snowy Mountains; travelling iconic roads, through sensational scenery and visiting a number of venues offering epicurean delights.
Proposed itinerary:
Monday 12th: Canberra to Jindabyne via Dalgety and Charlotte Pass;
Tuesday 13th: Jindabyne to Tumut via the Snowy Mountains Highway – one of the best roads in Oz! Also visiting Yarrangobilly Caves and the Adelong gold mill ruins.
Wednesday 14th:
Tumut to Tumbarumba;
Then either:
Tumbarumba to Jindabyne via Khancoban, Thredbo and The Alpine Way – returnees to Canberra;
Or
Tumbarumba to Rutherglen via Jingellic and Albury along Murray River Road – returnees to Victoria.
