The Club is celebrating the Members’ Awards for 2018. This will be held at usual Club Night location at Bells Hotel in the upstairs function room from 7.00 pm where a light meal and refreshments will be provided.

There will be 2 sessions, one before and one after lunch. This will be done under yellow flags and behind a safety car. For all you wanna be drivers, head on up and then START YOUR ENGINES!

Alfa Romeo Giulia 105 Showcase

Xavier College, Chapel Oval, Barkers Rd, Kew. 9.30am until 2.30pm
Alfa Romeo owners and fans of the iconic Italian marque are invited to attend the club’s annual Spettacolo event at Xavier College, Kew. With its close to perfect manicured surface on the Chapel oval, it’s the ideal venue for a display of classic Italian cars. More than 350 Alfa Romeo vehicles and other Italian car club marques are expected on the day. Alfa Romeo owners of all models are invited to display their vehicles and to be part of the largest all-Alfa Romeo display in the southern hemisphere.

Workshop Visit – Alfa Donnini Repairs, Malvern East
This workshop visit will be of special interest to owners of any current model Mito and Giulietta or any club member looking to purchase one or simply wanting to learn more about either of these models.
Following on from the successful visit to Alex’s workshop last year, the focus of the visit will be on the 940 Series Giulietta and Mito models. This workshop visit is a must for any current or prospective buyer of one of these models.

Sunday Morning Drive to Archies Creek 11th February.
We are again holding this popular morning drive. Club members meet up at Tooradin and then on to South Gippsland to the east coast.
Start Time: 8.30 am for 9.00 am departure.
Where from: Pelican Café
85 South Gippsland Hwy, Tooradin.
The Club will be participating in the above display to be held at Yarra Glen Racecourse. This is a great opportunity for members to hold our own Club Display and be judged against other Clubs located in the field.
We have secured a display area and now seek Club members to participate in this event. This is a centrally located event suitable for all members interested in a social or display event. Regional members are welcome to attend. All members and families are encouraged to support the Club.

Italian Auto Icons 2018
The Alfa Romeo Owners Club has been invited to participate in the Annual Italian Auto Icons car and bike display in Lygon Street Carlton on Sunday 4th March with a display of Giulia Theme cars.
The Club is aiming to display 15 Alfa Romeo 101 and 105 Series Giulia cars to represent the marque. Contact Malcolm Muir to register your interest in displaying your car.
Up to 70 cars from Zagame, FCA, Alfa Romeo, Fiat, Ferrari, Maserati, Lancia and Lamborghini car clubs will be on display.
As in previous years, Lygon Street will be closed off between Faraday and Elgin Streets and entry to the display area by the public is free.
Public viewing is from 9.00 am to 3.00 pm and an estimated 3000 car enthusiasts and their families are expected to attend.
In addition to the display of Italian Auto Icons there will also be a great range of food, face painting for kids and family attractions to make this a great day.

Phillip Island Classic – Club Display
Saturday 10th & Sunday 11th March
The Club has once again been invited to participate in the in the Club Display and ‘Shannon’s Walk’ at the 2018 Phillip Island Classic historic race meeting and current and new club are encouraged to attend.
If you enjoy motor racing of any era, this Phillip Island Classic weekend presents historic motor racing at its very best with large numbers of local, interstate and international cars and drivers competing.As in previous years, the position of the club’s display in the area will be a matter of first come best dressed (or displayed).

Alfesta 2018 SYDNEY (29 March – 2 April)
Alfesta is the annual gathering of Alfisti from all over Australia, traditionally held over the Easter long weekend.
Each year, a different state Club of AROCA hosts the event. Alfesta 2018 will be based around Sydney, NSW.
Come along and enjoy the annual national AROCA members’ Easter weekend, hosted this year by AROCA NSW. Alfesta is for all club members, including children. We are planning the usual show ‘n shine; a luncheon drive, harbour cruise including dinner, The Ray Sharp observation run and ending with the formal presentation dinner.
Auto Italia Canberra – Drive to Canberra

Many members and friends will be travelling to Canberra for Auto Italia 2018 and this will be an excellent opportunity to all meet up with fellow Alfisti at the start of the Hume Freeway and participate in a group drive to Canberra.
