Some more footage - session 3, in which I had less excitement (no spins), but was much quicker (got down to 1:48.3, which I was reasonably happy with).

Wow that video had everything in it from a spin to the gear knob falling off! It's exhilarating just watching the video so I can't imagine how good it would feel to drive it!

Hi Scott - indeed a great photo... and I must say your car looks and sounds amazing  :)

Ben Styles

Had a great day running a PB with a series of 1.46 second laps, just shy of dipping into the 1.45's with a 46.05.

Some great driving out there, and thanks to the great driver of this MX5 in my below video for some neat driving and an excellent session-long benchmark.

Fantastic day everyone - I usually run with my club (PIARC) and this beats it hands-down for organisation and maximum track time. Great day, and I'll be back!

Didn't you realise that all 90's are chicanes?  ;)

:) Yeah, the gearknob caught me by surprise - certainly a new one! Time for some locktite on the thread, I think.

Well with all the show and tell, here is a few not that exciting laps with Damon before the car broke.  Reasonable times for him despite little driving due to VCE, the errors and having to pass a few cars, I would have expected 3sec better.

Neil,

Where's the footage of the big spin?

Evan Bottcher

A little bit of me driving the shitbox chicane 90.  I desperately wanted to keep up with the 105 coupe, but just couldn't make it happen...

What.  A.  Shitbox.

Was good to get some laps in before the drivers side engine mount decided to melt away and leave the engine to roam freely around the engine bay... :)

Mick, was that your last lap. There where more waves & cheerios than a John Farnham retirement concert.
