Thursday? 2-1-2008

Hi All,

Is it only my car that went from Monday 31-12-2007 to Wednesday 1-1-2008?

What happened to Tuesday?  I know I had a few beers on Monday night, but not enough to miss an entire day...

I have checked the calendar, because it's a leap year, this particular calendar only comes around every 28 years, 2036 is still out, as is 2064, so I assume that the day out is carried on forever.  You can't go back before 2001, so that's not a fix either.

This is on a 2002 156GTA, I'll check the 02 JTS when it gets home, but I suspect it'll be the same.

Back in 1999 when the 156 was built, Georgio Calanderi the Alfa Romeo instrument designer, deliberately left off a day of the month on a few years here and there on all GTA 156 models. This was in an attempt to circumnavigate and confuse the 'Lemon Laws' that kick in if a vehicle is left in the shop 'Off the Road for repairs' for too many days. Sounds about right doesn't it Your Honor?

hey Stuart,
remember this thread?  i initially replied stating my 03 156 GTA did not have this problem... i lied!  my car date is one day ahead i.e today it reads Sat 08 FEB instead of Fri 08 Feb.
