Hi Ozant

Snap!

This is a picture of my 33, my first Alfa, the car that good me hooked on the Brand.
I have since bought a GTV6 Grand Prix, a 156 Monza and a 75 Twin Spark. I don't think there is any turning back from here!
I really enjoyed the car especially that twin carb boxer engine, it made such lovely sounds!!

Welcome to the forum!

Cheers

Best advice is now you have introduced yourself, go to the 900 series forum, to talk about your 33, as far as fun per $, they are hard to beat, Colin.

Congrats! Very nice 33 you have.
The 33 sealed my fate. Hooked for life. I love the super responsive and revvy engine they have and the gearchange is awesome. My first was the 1500 and now own a 16v, and used to own an early 1700 with the twin 40's which is my favorite. I now have a sprint with that engine in it and it's too much fun!
I wouldn't modify anything on the car to make it go faster if it's going to be a daily driver, just make everything work and keep up the maintenance and it will treat you well.
Good luck.

Change the cam belts and tensioners every 60,000 or 4 years or NOW if you don't know when it was last done, every 120,000 or 8 years or second cam belt change put in a new water pump, these are not a weak point, but they have to be done, Colin.

Congratulations on your purchase.  I did see it on carsales and it really looked like a good buy.

Any questions, use the forum and guys like Colin and Frank (to name a few) can answer your queries.

THe only modification I would do would be to put in aircon that works in Australian conditions!  ;)

May be I am getting to old ...

If you are going to put air in a 33, make sure you have thousands of $$$, and plenty of time to sort it out, one day i will do an article on 33 air, in the meantime, just wind down your window and use the good flow thru ventilation, Colin.
