Not sure if i am posting this in the right spot, but i was at the wreckers on the centre rd this morning and outside they had a 2002 147 (Select speed) for sale @ $1000, it was smashed in the front right hand corner but the engine seemed ok, interior looked in good condition, could be good as a parts car....

Cheers

Its a good place Centre Rd wreckers, they always seem to have a few Alfa Romeo's there, and you know how much the part is before you remove it, and if the part is no good you can just leave it, and you can have a good scrounge around, and the prices are the same for Hyundai's or Alfa Romeo's, and also Miss Alfa Sprint, there is a 85 Sprint at Pick a part at Campbellfield, but when possible support the wreckers that support the Alfa club, but a lot of us work saturdays, and thats the only time we can get to wreckers, Colin.

True there colin.

Talking about these non alfa specialist wreckers, my brother picked up a whole heap of giulietta parts from pick a part campbellfield 5yrs ago. The best thing he got was a pair of late model headlights, correct with the nipples for $40. You never know what your going to find. Have you tried Andy's Auto's in Camp Road? There's an interesting Fiat 2300 their that looks to be a true all victorian car judging from the very old rego sticker. They also have a 147

A pair of Koni yellows for an Alfetta at Pick a Part a few years ago.  Looked and worked like brand new.  $25.

Hey ANG156, i have tried Andys Autos in Campbellfield, i got some parts for my brothers Sud, and i could not beleive what i found there, A Country Dealer Team Gemini group C racecar that hadn't been crashed and a ROLLS ROYCE that had had an engine bay fire, there is also a place in Dandenong called JOLLY'S U-PULL-IT, [don't ask me what it is u-pull], and i have got some 33 parts there as well, about 1 year ago they had the top of the line last series 164Q, that hadn't been crashed, but the owner obviously couldn't sell it, thanks for the tip ANG156, i will tell my brother about the 147 at Andy's, but where possible support our sponsors, Colin.
