Great story in this week's Auto Action about Lakeside's Festival Of Sports Cars. The Alfas get a mention and the pic is of AROCA Qld Patron John French at Lakeside in '74 in a brand new GTV 2000.

I can't wait to get amongst it! Looking forward to seeing the NSW boys too.

We still have space available in both the VRA and AASA categories, so don't die with the music in you, get an entry in and come join us.

For those without roll cages etc, QR is now putting on a regularity category. Places are filling fast for that one so if you are keen, jump onto the QR website and download an entry. A couple of real classics in the regularity, including the Centaur Waggott that John French drove to victory in the 1962 Australian Sports Car Championship at Lakeside. That race in '62 even had a LeMans style running start! Imagine doing that now and trying to get your harness buckled up, engine started etc...what a panic.

Cheers, Brent
