A couple of videos of Phillip Island on the weekend. These feature Jim in the wet on slicks, and the improved Sheldon.

This is the first practice of the day as it began to drizzle.

This is trying to keep up with Sheldon in the 90.

One more to go when I got to mix it up with the MX-5's at the end of the day.

Cheers Frank.

Great videos Frank! You actually managed to capture my entire efforts at Phillip Island on Sunday in the brief time I make an appearance in the first video. I should get a discount because my car has not exactly been wearing the track out..

I like the Turtle video best, but in the end, Sheldon did a faster time than you - thats gotta hurt! :)

Paul. that was an awesome video - damn shame you couldn't catch Neil though... I felt sure he'd come off at Honda as soon as the rain started!! What sort of camera were you using - brilliant quality - ?

Alister: Head gasket problems - already taken the head off, fitted an MLS gasket with new 12.8 bolts and put it back together...

Thanks Jim, The camera was one of those little Kodak Zi6 that Stuart Thompson was using earlier in the year. Good value for $99.00 although the sound could be better . I don't think the 1/4 inch sub woffer is up to it.

It was a funny old day Sunday. I had my best time in the first session then proceeded to go slower. Neil on the other hand got faster. I also have some good vision with Justin Jacobs in his new 75 but having trouble with the edit function. I will try again tomorrow . Can't wait for 3 runs at P I next year

Deano, You were just in front of me but already around  Honda. Unfortunately all i got was a puff of tyre smoke as you excited gracefully to the right.

Hi Stephen.

Very nice driving...smooth and quick. Can you tell us a little about the set up of your 75? Eg. Tyres, suspension set-up, how much negative camber, and any engine work?

Cheers,

Henry.

Jim, that's very true, it does hurt. What can I say, unless I get quickest time of the day I'll never be happy. I'll get over it.  ;)

Gully, well done keeping up with Neil, very difficult drive when it drizzles on parts of the track. Excellent video, so clear and sharp, that camera is great value.

Cheers

And my car drove there and back.  And has central locking.  And electric windows.  Is it hurting any more yet?

The small matter of an engine twice as big helps too of course.

It has taken me 4 years to catch you Frank, let me wallow in self-satisfaction for a few days months at least!!  You're next Jim!!
