Does anyone have a Alfa Romeo Guilietta 2.0 propellar shaft available???
GTV shaft is a bit shorter than Guilietta so will not fit, but i am also thinking a Alfetta shaft would be the same
If anyone has one available please let me know price and location

I have one from an 85 guiletta & will check on condition on tuesday...

Mate I have one from an 82 Alfetta GTV. I think it is in okay condition - you can have it for free but the freight cost might be the problem. I am located near Geelong, Vic.

A coupe shaft is shorter than the sedan.

This goes for the majority of models because the sedans are longer in the wheelbase.

The Alfetta should fit the  Giulietta both of them being sedans.

It takes considerable amount of work to remove and install a transaxle driveshaft. Be sure the replacment shaft has good locating bearings, seals, centre bearing, rubber couplings and is correctly balanced otherwise there will be some hair tearing down the track...guaranteed.

While you at it, it will pay to check the front and rear transaxle rubber mounts, clutch slave cylinder leaks, rear caliper leaks and diff output shaft leaks.

Personal messaged all responses thankyou
Thankyou MD for your notes, i always take regard of what someone saids, there is always something to learn
I have removed/restored/replaced propellar shafts about 20 times in my lifetime so am just used to it i guess, i do not even think about it anymore, just do it, basically just remove the exhaust, heat shield then propellar shaft bolts but yes i guess it is one of those jobs where as you do not want to be doing it everyday, it is alot better replacing all the parts but sometimes you just have to make do with what you got
